Why do you live?

Why do I climb up, knowing I will climb back down?
Why do I try, knowing I might fail?
Why do I pursue my dream, knowing it might never come true?
And why do I live, knowing I will die?

I believe that the last question is worth for everyone to ask themselves. Have you ever asked yourself a question like that and find out your own answer? Have you ever spent your time to look into inside and think about the purpose why you came to this Earth? Have you ever thought that you are the special one in life?

For me, everyone was born to bring a special meaning to this world. They were born not just to be alive and then die. They came to this Earth to create beautiful things and make the world a better place. You can be a good doctor to treat many people, you can be a teacher with a great lover of spreading knowledge and inspiring children to be the best, you can be a leader to contribute to the development of the country’s economy, or simply you can be a cleanup worker to make streets in your city cleaner. Whatever you do in your life, you should know the meaning of things you are doing, the value you create to your life, who you are and how you want to live your life.

Why?

Why should you know those things?

Because YOU, to be here in this world, had to make an effort that somehow you have not known before. With regard to biology, if ejaculation occurs during sex, millions of sperms are released into the vagina of the woman. Actually, the way to find an egg is a very long distance. Therefore, it requires hard working and determination to achieve the goal. In that long way, a half of them do not know where they go, many of them give up because of difficulties, and just a few of sperms who swim inexhaustibly can overcome all the challenges to find the egg. However, the egg accepts only one sperm, that means even you try your best, you also need some luck to become the winner. As you can see, your attendance in life has never been so easy. 😀

Sometimes the pace of life is too fast for us to have time to look inside. We are too materialistic to know who we are. It is easy for us to give up on the way to dream. Some people suicide and forget how they tried their best to be present in life. Some people are just alive. So let spend your time to know who you are and what your mission in life is. Just by that way, you will be strong enough to overcome the difficulties in life and see how beautiful life is. Naturally, we were born and all will die. And that is one of the single best inventions of life. We are like the passengers in some living decades. So why don’t we make that journey meaningful and special?

Do you know which makes the Dalai Lama surprised most about humanity?
The Dalai Lama answered:
“Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived”.

I believe that live is a verb, so let it be a verb. 🙂
